La Casita Review

La Casita is a Family Mexican Restaurant in Parker. The address is at 18951 E Main Street. It’s open from 11am to 9pm on weekdays, and 11am to 10pm on weekends. It’s moderately priced with a lengthy 7 page menu. It’s also decorated very uniquely as if it were a Mexican town courtyard with fake parrots decorating the rafters.

I arrived at 1:30pm, I was seated fast by my waitress and was soon given complimentary chips and salsa, which was bottomless. I was given a great amount of time to choose a meal to eat. I chose the Tacos Al Cabron ($13.95) and ordered a Coke ($2.50). I waited for a good 10 minutes before getting my food, and the food was great.

The chips and salsa were great, the salsa was blended together perfectly. My tacos were a little bland but were still a big highlight of my visit. The tortillas tasted good and the beans and rice were warm and delicious with the tacos. The decor was tasteful and the waitress was great. Additionally it was great food for such a cheap price.

This restaurant was so unique in the Parker area that I could only think of one other place to compare it to. That restaurant would be Dos Portios.`

I recommend this place 100% and I give it a 4.8 out of 5. My only issues was the bland-ish food. If you go to La Casita I recommend being very adapt to spicy food because the food is pretty hot. Overall it’s an amazing place and I’m definitely going again.
