Eating healthy snacks in school is big when it comes to your grade and personal wellness. They are the fuel to your fire.

According to the center for science in the public interest serving healthy snacks to children is important to providing good nutrition, supporting lifelong healthy eating habits, and helping to prevent costly and potentially disabling diseases such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity.

“I am all for it because I don’t see many people bringing healthy snacks to school. This will fuel your body better so that you don’t crash and burn in school,” said Mrs. Goulet the health teacher for team Hawk

In a lot of ways healthy snacks can be the key to success in school. This is so because healthy snacks contain protein and protein energizes the body so that you can be more engaged and want to be more involved in class.

Bringing healthy snacks to school could change your opinion on how well you do in school and how successful you will be in the future.
