Eating at regular intervals, and eating lunch, is vital to a healthy, balanced daily diet. But why are lunch breaks so important each and every day?

Lunch breaks are what keep you going through the day. When you eat lunch, your blood sugar rises and it helps you focus. We also need the vitamins and nutrients that lunch provides for us.

Although, during lunch many people use the time to catch up on work or get things done related to school or a job. But we need a break to give our self breathing space and a time to relax and prepare for the rest of the day.

“Sometimes the school food doesn’t taste the best, but you need to eat lunch each and every single day. Without it, you’ll be hungry and miserable for the remaining of the school day,” said Justine Teters.

According to Mental Healthy, it’s important to actually take a break from the morning’s activities to consolidate your thoughts, particularly if your work demands concentration. So keep in mind, lunch is extremely important.
