On Friday September 8th, the team competitions were held. The Sierra Scream is a competition between the teams, the 8th grade teams go against each other, and the 7th grade teams go against each other. The main reason for the Sierra Scream is for students on the teams get to know each other, and work together.

There are five events teams are judged on, costumes, song, cheer, flag, and dance.

This year the 7th and 8th grade teams earned points for each other. Hawk was teamed up with Wolfcreek, Phoenix was with Snowmass, and Falcon was with Telluride.

The overall placings were in first place Hawk and Wolfcreek with a total score of 53 in second place Falcon and Telluride with a score of 37, and in third place Phoenix and Snowmass with a score of 36.
