Over Fall Break a group of students went to Washington DC. They were in DC for 5 days.

Jed Palmer, Sadie Levine, Erin Hayen, and Lori Nicolais were the chaperones. Students saw monuments, the Capital, and archives. They went to DC to learn more about the Nation’s Capital, and to have a good time.

“The Trip was really fun, but also very tiring, I slept till 11:00 am until I got back,” Kalyssa Amy’s.

When students went to the Arlington Cemetery they watched the changing of the guard. Bobby West, Brie Murphy, and Toby Veit got to lay a wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier.

“It was important to me because it honors all the people who died unknown. I also feel bad for all the families who don’t know where their child is,” Bobby West.

Students got back from DC on October 11th, so they still had 5 days to recover from the trip.
