On November 1, Sierra Middle School hosted a Parent Night for incoming 6th grade parents to learn about our school and how it works. 6th graders got the chance to look around our school, after hours, and see the different styles of the classrooms.

When the Parents got in the school they got papers that tell them which room to go to so they can learn about the core classes and the electives.

“It looks pretty good and I want to do STEM and I want to learn a lot from Sierra,” said Jason Harrington, an incoming 6th grader.

Parents and new students coming to the school next year were happy with how they were thought about the different classes and are excited for next year.

“I am excited about going to middle school next year and hope I get to be with my friends and do the classes that I love,” said Heather West, an incoming 6th grader.

The staff was nice with the new people coming and did their best to tell the parents about the school. Parents were mainly pleased with how this night went and believe that the school will be a good learning environment with their children.
