On Friday February 1st, Sources of Strength had an assembly. It was from 1:40-2:40 in the gym, and it was about healthy activities.

There were many games that people played during the assembly. Some of the games were human bowling, a chicken toss and Sources (Simon) Says.

“It was very fun and interactive,” Izabella Burghardt said.

There was two guest speakers from Chaparral that talked about what healthy activities were, and why they are important. The point of this whole assembly was to showcase the Healthy Activities night.

Sadie Levine said, There were a few reasons for the assembly. One was to have fun and raise school spirit. The other reasons were to provide a leadership role for Source’s kids, and showcase the Healthy Activities Night which is on February 22.
