Swish for a Wish was a basketball tournament on Friday the 23rd. There was a total of 4 teams that competed in this tournament, and “Hoops I did it again” won the tournament and the 24 donuts from Krispy Kreme.

To get into the tournament you had to have 2 boys and 2 girls on each team, and pay $40 for each team. It was held by student council to start off wish week/spirit week. The winning team would receive 2 dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme.

Will Knight said that the tournament was a fun way to start of spirit week.

The teams played a round robin, then based off how they did in the round robin they were seeded and placed in the tournament. “Hoops I did it again” was the #1 seed and ended up winning the whole tournament.

“It was fun to play with my friends for a good cause and I love the donuts at the end,” Riley Smith said.

Swish for a Wish was a way to raise money for the wish kid that will be announced later in the month. The fundraiser ended up raising $160.
