Sierra’s Thespian club had Shakespeare Festival auditions on February 7th, 2019.

Five Thespian club members, Kiarra Berry, Jacob Billings, Brandon Oster-Wickstrom, Logan Rozelle and Arika Beckman have been practicing a five minute scene from Shakespeare “Much Ado About Nothing”. They auditioned for the opportunity to go to a Festival to compete.

“Shakespeare auditions were so amazing! Although I had trouble with my lines and the language in the beginning everything came together and we had a great audition.” Kiarra Berry said

A judge came into the school and watched the group perform their scene. Once they had finished the judge gave them feedback on how to improve.

“They [The auditions] were super fun! I had a great time, and we got some good feedback from the judge. We worked hard at rehearsals, and it all paid off with the audition. I personally think we nailed it, and did an amazing job! All in all, Shakespeare plays are just a fun thing to act out and I had a great time!” Arika Beckman said.

The five auditionees will find out if they are going to the festival or not later in the month.
