In Mr.Palmer’s 7th period News Crew class, students were shown and played on Mr. Palmer’s Game Boy.

The topic of 80’s video games had been brought up during a class discussion, and Mr. Palmer had remembered his old Game Boy that he had in the back room.

“I believe that I got the Game Boy in 1990” said Mr. Palmer.

The original Game Boy (the same version that Palmer had) had come out on April 21, 1989, nearly 30 years ago.

“I showed them [the students] the game because we had been talking about retro 80’s video games and the Game Boy had been brought up,” said Palmer.

There were a variety of games such as, Galaga, Football, F-1 Race and Tetris.

“It was kind of weird because it was old and slow, but it was fun to experience,”Hayley Withrow said.
