On May 8th, NJHS students stood near the school entrances and clapped teachers in as they came to work.

As part of teacher appreciation week, NJHS decided to clap teachers in to start their day on a positive note. They arrived around 6:30-6:45 and stood near the front entrance and the teacher parking lot entrance.

They each held a positive sign and cheered for each teacher that entered the building.

“The clap in was a fun way to show our appreciation for teachers and let them know we care about them,” Hayley Withrow said.

This was one of NJHS’s last activities before the end of the year.
