What is something interesting that you love to do?

I really love to play volleyball. I am a blocker for Relentless Volleyball Club here in Parker.

How did you get started playing volleyball?

I used to play baseball when I was younger, but I got injured and couldn’t play anymore. So I wanted to try out volleyball and I have loved it ever since.

What is your favorite part about playing volleyball?

I love the feeling that nobody can stop you when you score a point or make an awesome play and succeeding with your team right behind you. It makes you feel like you’re on top of the world with the people you love the most.

What’s the best part about your team?

It’s like having another family, I have 11 sisters who are always there for me and love me. We are always there to support each other and cheer each other on. We spend so much time together and always have so much fun, but we also get to achieve really great things together.

How has COVID-19 affected your volleyball season so far?

It has certainly made things more difficult, we can only be in the gym twice a week rather than four and we always must be socially distanced. The only time we don’t have to is on the court, but masks always have to be on. We also can’t play any more games.

What do you want your future to look like in volleyball?

I want to be able to get a full-ride scholarship for volleyball to any college and play there. When I’m older, I want to keep playing but also coach younger kids and have fun with it for the rest of my life.
