  • About 30 peppermint candies
  • 2 ½ cups of melting chocolate (dark or milk)
  • 2 ½ cups of white melting chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract

  1. Put the peppermint candies in a Ziplock bag, then crush them. You can use your hands, a rolling pin, or any other thing you find that is suitable for crushing. (Put this aside when done, you won’t need it for a little while)
  2. Put the melting chocolate (you can use milk or dark) in a microwavable bowl and microwave it for 30 seconds.
  3. When you take it out of the microwave, stir it, then put it back in for 30 more seconds. Do not overheat the chocolate, it could scorch.
  4. Spread the melted chocolate over the bottom of a baking pan (lined with wax paper), and let sit.
  5. While you let the chocolate settle, melt the white chocolate. (Follow step three).
  6. Pour the white chocolate over the milk/dark chocolate. Make sure to spread it evenly.
  7. Spread the crushed peppermint candies over the top of the white chocolate.
  8. Put in the refrigerator for about an hour (longer if needed) or until chocolate hardens.

  • You can substitute the peppermint candies for candy canes, the directions are same as follows.
  • You could also use chocolate chips instead of melting chocolate.
