Valentines Day Cookie Recipe

What you will need for this recipe:
- 1 ¼ cups of all purpose flour
- ¼ cup white sugar
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 2 pinches salt
- ½ cup honey (optional)
- ⅓ cup milk
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
- ½ cup vanilla chips
- ½ cup confectioners sugar
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350* F
- Whisk together flour, white sugar, baking soda, and salt into a bowl.
- Beat honey, milk, butter, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl until smooth.
- Stir the flour mixture into the honey mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate and vanilla chips.
- Roll the dough into walnut-size balls and place 2 inches apart onto nonstick baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 15 to 18 minutes.
- Allow cookies to cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
(To add a valentines day twist, add red food coloring into the dough, and cut into heart shapes before placing in the oven!)
