What you will need for this recipe:
1 ¼ cups of all purpose flour
¼ cup white sugar
½ teaspoon baking soda
2 pinches salt
½ cup honey (optional)
⅓ cup milk
¼ cup butter, softened
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
½ cup vanilla chips
½ cup confectioners sugar
Preheat oven to 350* F
Whisk together flour, white sugar, baking soda, and salt into a bowl.
Beat honey, milk, butter, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl until smooth.
Stir the flour mixture into the honey mixture until just combined.
Fold in chocolate and vanilla chips.
Roll the dough into walnut-size balls and place 2 inches apart onto nonstick baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 15 to 18 minutes.
Allow cookies to cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
(To add a valentines day twist, add red food coloring into the dough, and cut into heart shapes before placing in the oven!)
