Grandma’s Famous Lasagne

Are you in the mood for a warm Italian dinner? Then I have the recipe for you! Read below to find out how to make a hearty pasta dish for your family. The recipe will be a favorite because it has been passed down from generation to generation. The ingredients are simple, although it does take some time to prepare. But then just pop it in the oven for just under an hour and you’re all set. Serve it with crunchy and buttery french bread and a cool caesar salad. Enjoy!

Ingredients –

1 8 oz. package of Lasagne Noodles

Put noodles in boiling water.

Meat sauce – 1 pound of ground beef, 3, 8oz cans of tomato sauce, ½ tsp of salt, ¼ tsp of pepper, ½ tsp. of oregano leaves. 

Brown meat – drain fat, stir in tomato sauces alt, pepper, and oregano

Simmer for 20 minutes- low heat

12 o.z ricotta cheese 

2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese

 ⅓ cup of parmesan cheese

Boil noodles while the meat sauce simmers. 

Drain water from noodles

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Use a 9 x 13 pan. 

Put the meat sauce on the bottom of the pan. 

Then layer the noodles, sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese until gone. 

Sprinkle parmesan on top. 

Bake uncovered for 40 minutes
