On Thursday, August 31, Sierra competed against Rocky Heights in a home cross country meet. Sierra lost with a score of 158-99.

Rosty Kichuk said that he felt that he did fairly well, but didn’t get as good of a place because the other team had many more runners and they were all very talented.

Coach Kelly Swiryn said that overall, the meet was pretty awesome, but there was lots of competition. There were many personal records, so it was a successful meet.

Jackson Parrill finished 1st in the 7th boys category and the 8th boys beat Rocky Heights.

Their next meet is on Thursday, September 7, at Sagewood.
