Sierra’s Unified Basketball team resulted in a very close game against Cimmaron on February 4, 2020. It was a very even game between both teams that took place in Sierra, but it was not said who won because in unified sports they don’t take score.

At the beginning of the game, Players numbers 34 and 20 were hitting it off at the very start, making 3 baskets in the first fifteen minutes. There was some good defense on Cimmaron and they were constantly blocking and scoring on Sierra. Later on, sierra was scoring even more and taking many shots.

At the beginning of the second half of the game, Cimmaron scored, but Sierra quickly recovered from a score from number 20. The teams were hustling over to both sides and maneuvering around each opponent. It was coming very close by the end of the game between Sierra and Cimmaron.

“They did amazing! Our players are improving so much! We have been teaching them some new skills like passing and sharing the ball, and they are doing really well.” said Kati Eck, one of Sierra’s unified basketball coaches.

Some of the upcoming games are on February 10 and February 18 for Unified Basketball and are both going to be taking place at Sierra Middle School.
