“Running is a mental sport and I learned to use my mind and tell myself at the meets that I can do better and keep up with and pass other,” said Sofia Zaugg, “I was able to pace and train myself everyday to improve physically and began beating my one and a half mile time.”
The Eagles competed against Sagewood on the 22nd, the girls raced at Sierra while the boys competed at Sagewood.
“We had a lot of good runners and many of them finished each race in the top 5. Each and every runner had a few personal records in the meets,” said Mrs. Clifford

“7th grade boys had an outstanding meet on September 23rd at Mountain Ridge Middle School, one of the fastest teams in the district. In addition to Beckett Bacon placing 2nd overall, every single 7th grade boy ran their fastest time of the season!
